Fisherman's Beachhead was a stretch of beach in Octopus Bay in Messara, Greece. It served as the fish market of Heraklion.

For years preceding the Peloponnesian War, the fish market was run by a man known only as Swordfish. Despite his apparent disappearance, Swordfish still had the beachhead under his thumb by the time the Spartan misthios Kassandra came to Heraklion looking for him.[1]
