Alaric I (370 or 375 – 410) was the first King of the Visigoths from 395 to his death.

In 410, Alaric and his troops sacked Rome, scattering the ashes of the deceased Emperor Hadrian in his mausoleum and destroying the Basilica Aemilia.[1]

In 2012, he was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[2]
