Esquiline Hill

The Esquiline Hill (Latin: Collis Esquilinus, Italian: Esquilino) is the southernmost of the seven hills of Rome. The Esquiline was another fashionable residential district.

The Roman Emperor Nero confiscated property here to build his opulent Golden Palace.[1] The Roman Emperor Trajan also constructed his bath complex on the Esquiline.[2]
