The Erochos Military Camp was a military camp located southwest of the Pharsalos Fort within Valley of the Nymph in Phokis, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra infiltrated the camp, claiming the valuables within.[1]
Trivia
- The name of the campsite references the former town of Erochos, which was destroyed by the army of Xerxes I of Persia around 480 BCE.
