Eremos Hideout

Eremos Hideout was a small bandit camp located among a small grove in the dunes of the Iment Nome, southeast of the town of Yamu.

In 48 BCE, the bandits of the camp operated it as a site of production for fake cat mummies which they then supplied to Baqet and a few other merchants of Yamu for easy profits. Shortly before the Festival of Sekhmet, the Medjay Bayek learned from interrogating Baqet that this was the source of the forgeries, and he promptly set out to the camp, eliminated each of the bandits one by one, and burned down their caches of fraudulent religious icons.[1]
