The Merchant is a multiplayer character in the upcoming game, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It is stated by Ubisoft that he might make an appearance in the single-player mode in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood as well as the other multiplayer characters. His current weapon of assassination is a dagger.
