In Venice Emilio had taken control of Venice and holding it with an iron fist. Along with the [[Thieves]], [[Ezio]] was able to sneak into Barbarigo's palace and assassinate him. But before his death Ezio had heard him talking with a man named Carlo Grimaldi. With Emilio out of the way the Thieves had regained their former glory and has been keeping an eye out for any others who were allies of Emilio such as Carlo Grimalde and the rest of his family.
