Eastern Gate Guard Post

The Eastern Gate Guard Post was a small military guard post situated near the eastern gate of Thebes, Egypt. A small shrine dedicated to Aten was located in a small room in the outpost.

In 38 BCE, the outpost was visited by the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa, who eliminated the guards and claimed their valuables.[1]
