The Akropolis of Karthaia was a temple complex located in Apollo's Refuge, the southeastern region of Keos, Greece. The acropolis housed several sacred buildings such as the temples of Apollo and Athena.

Particularly in the temple of Apollo, who served as the divine protector of the island, public laws were recorded inside. [citation needed]

During the Peloponnesian War the acropolis sanctuary was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra[1]
