Dubai is a city located in the United Arab Emirates. In the late 20th century, it was home to an Assassin facility, which acted as the residence of the Order's leader, "the Mentor".
In the year 2000, after a two year search, the Assassin Daniel Cross was finally brought to the Mentor's facility in Dubai. There, the neurological impulse in Daniel's brain, inserted during his youth by the Templar-owned organization Abstergo Industries, forced Daniel to kill the Mentor with the man's own Hidden Blade.
Daniel then escaped the structure by performing a Leap of Faith through the glass window, and into the sea below.
