Domenico Garofoli was the Governor of Cyprus during the early 16th century, hailing from Venice in Italy.
Biography
When the Assassin Ezio Auditore arrived on Cyprus, he found himself stuck without anyone who was willing to sail him to Acre. He decided to visit the Governor of Cyprus, the Venetian Domenico Garofoli, hoping that he would help him.
However, it soon became clear that, despite being polite, the governor was not willing to help Ezio in any way. Garofoli told Ezio of the tensions between the Ottoman Empire and Venice, and of how a mission that had not been sanctioned by official diplomacy could trigger an international incident.
