Dniester

The Dniester is a river in Eastern Europe.

History

In 870, during his travels east, the Viking Sigurd Styrbjornsson of the Raven Clan and his cousin Knud traveled to Bulgar along the Dniester. They dealt with an attempted ambush at a swordsmith's shop, and learned about the location of a very rich merchant's castle[1] on the so called "Dniester Trail".[2]
