The Lokrian Ajax, also called Ajax the Lesser, was the son of King Oileus who participated in the Trojan War in Greek mythology.
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the site where Ajax's ship had allegedly sunk. Ajax himself was said to have been buried on Mykonos.[1]
