When he was boy, Dimitrios made a living by working at the public baths.  In time, the smells of patrons began to drive him mad, and according to rumors, he killed his costumers by drowning them before covering their corpes' with sweet-smelling liquids.  From then on, it was believed that he only killed those whose smell had assaulted his nose.

Dimitrios the Cleaner

Dimitrios the Cleaner (died c. 420s BCE) was a mercenary who operated in Greece during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography

When he was boy, Dimitrios made a living by working at the public baths.  In time, the smells of patrons began to drive him mad, and according to rumors, he killed his customers by drowning them before covering their corpes' with sweet-smelling liquids.  From then on, it was believed that he only killed those whose smell had assaulted his nose.  

During the war, he crossed paths with the Spartan misthios Kassandra.
