The Desheret Desert is one of the most remote deserts in Egypt, being located in the southernmost region of Upper Egypt. Common hazards for human travelers in the area include dehydration, hallucinations, and venomous cobras.
Beneath the desert floor rests an Isu construct, Qeneb.too Kah'Aiye, built within a vast artificial canyon.
Trivia
- Desheret was the formal ancient Egyptian name for the Red Crown of Lower Egypt and for the vast desert known as the Red Land on either side of the fertile Nile River basin.
