Arbaaz had an argument with Hamid regarding the Maharajah, who he still only saw as a mass murderer, but Hamid told him that he was the last rampart of India against the British. Thus, Arbaaz was tasked with protecting the Maharajah and stop the Templars at all costs. Retrieving the Koh-I-Noor was not his mission; the diamond was rumored to be cursed and lethally dangerous to men.
Before leaving, Arbaaz bought Hamid's mute servant Raza Soora from him, bothered by the harsh treatment the boy was receiving from Hamid.
