10-year-old Junjiro is an artist, a caretaker, and a bundle of relentless positivity even surrounded by constant war. Sweet, sensitive, and sometimes naively straight-forward, Junjiro has a knack for cutting to the heart of any problem.

He lived and studied at Makinoodera, remaining after its destruction to tend to Sorin, his mentor. Despite his own tragedies, Junijiro's forgiveness helps to heal Naoe's heart.
