Agora of Piraeus

The Agora, also called the Hippodamian agora after the architect Hippodamos,[1] was an agora located in Port of Piraeus in Attika, Greece

The agora served as the marketplace for the retail traders, known as the kapeloi.[2]

During the Peloponnesian War, the heavily guarded agora was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[3]
