Agniolo was one of Leonardo da Vinci's assistants in Florence, and the first one mentioned. He was able to read and transcribe "Leonardo’s impenetrable scrawl." Alongside with Innocento, Agniolo oversaw Leonardo’s other assistants in 1480.
