The Assassins Order, also known as the Assassin Brotherhood, was an organized order of assassins who were involved in a continuous war against their sworn enemies: the Templars. Their main goal was to ensure the survival of humanity's free will while the Templars sought the power to control it.
The Assassins have existed since at least 456 BCE, but nobody knows exactly when the actual Order was documented throughout the Roman Empire, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and into the modern eras.
