Abstergo Entertainment was a subsidiary of Abstergo Industries. The company was tasked to produce various multimedia consumer goods based on the technologies they'd developed. Their strongest product was the Animus Omega, a gaming console version of the Animus. Their first game was called Liberation and was released in partnership with Ubisoft, a game developer and publisher company. The game followed the story of Assassin Aveline de Grandpré, and generated huge success for both companies. Currently Abstergo Entertainment is focusing on the Identities Project, using the genetic memories they harvested from several Assassins throughout history, in the hope of finding new, interesting information for future projects. |
Behind the scenes
This database entry only exists in the early version of Assassin's Creed: Identity, which said the Identity Project was running on the Mobile Helix Navigator rather than the Animus Omega.[1]
