Daniel Cross is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed: The Fall.
Biography
Daniel Cross, an ex-convict, recovering drug addict and alcoholic, had been experiencing 'visions' from a past life. As he didn't knew how to control these 'visions', he went crazy and soon found himself sitting in a psychiatrist's office.
Some time later, he was contacted by the modern day Order of Assassins, who told him that he was suffering from the "bleeding effect" and was thus viewing the memories of one of his ancestors: the Assassin Nikolai Orelov. As both the Assassin Order and Daniel himself were curious about his ancestor's memories, Daniel was put in the Animus to find out more about them.
