The Agamemnon's Helmet was a helmet piece of the armor set belonging to the legendary king of Mycenae, Agamemnon.
During the 5th century BCE, the armor pieces were in the possession of the Cult of Kosmos, who split the armor pieces amongst by the members of the Silver Vein. During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet came into the possession of Machaon who operated in Patrai. The misthios Kassandra eliminated Machaon and claimed the helmet for herself.[1]
