Aella's Bardiche is a weapon introduced in ''[[Assassin's Creed: Valhalla]]''. A bardiche is poleaxe with the lower end of the blade braced against the haft. Bardiche type weapons first appeared in the late 1200s. As such this weapon's name is both a misnomer and historically inaccurate as the depicted weapon is not bardiche and predates them by at least 400 years.

Aella's Bardiche

Aella's Bardiche was a bardiche given to King Ælla of Northumbria by King Louis the Younger.

During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this battleaxe at Jorvik Theatre.[1]
