The Copper Mine

The Copper Mine was a mine in the Mount Ochi on the island of Euboea, Greece. It was located to the southwest of Mount Ochi and was occupied by bandits.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killing the bandits, freeing their prisoners and claiming their valuables.[1]
