Clydno Eiddyn was a 6th century ruler of the region of Eiddyn, now modern Edinburgh. Eiddyn was a district of the Gododdin kingdom in the Hen Ogledd ("Old North").
In Welsh mythology, Clydno possessed a magical halter with the ability to summon any horse when affixed to the foot of one's bed.[1] The design of the halter was later replicated on a tablet made from a precursor material, and was later kept in the possession of the Order of the Ancients Zealot Woden.[2]
