Christie Golden (born 21 November 1963) is an American author who has written nearly fifty novels and several short stories in fantasy, horror and science fiction. She has written several books in the Assassin's Creed franchise.
Biography
In 2014, as a promotional addition to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Golden wrote Blackbeard's Lost Journal and later did the same for Assassin's Creed: Unity with the Abstergo Entertainment: Employee Handbook. On 22 September 2016, Golden was announced to be writing a new novel, Assassin's Creed: Heresy, released in November. In December of that year, Golden also wrote the official novelization of the film.[1] Golden joined Blizzard Entertainment as a full-time employee in October 2017.[2] In the announcement, she clarified that due to her new position, it would be "highly unlikely" that she would write more Assassin's Creed novels.[3]
