The Chumbuya Axe was a two-parted axe with a wooden hilt, wrapped in leather and studded on the pommel. The axehead was sharp and angular, with a curved barb along the striking edge, while also possessing a blunt, square shaped butt on the opposite side.

The weapon was obtainable by the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré during the 18th century in New Orleans.
