The Celestial Torso was a chest piece that was part of a set of armor. Like a second skin, the piece covered the chest of its wearer, altering their appearance. Because of this, it was said that the clothes were a gift from the gods, and their wearer was thus blessed by the deities.
The chestpiece was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
