The Cave of the Brave was a cave in Dikte Plateau in Pephka, Greece.
History
When Leiandros, a businessman in Lato, created his enterprise around the myth of the Minotaur, he fashioned the natural cave into a makeshift lair of the 'Minotaur', played by himself in an ill-fitting, poorly-made mask.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place when she travelled with two other mercenaries to slay the 'Minotaur'. While the mercenaries fled in fear, Kassandra explored the depths of the cave, eventually reaching the main cavern, wherein she faced the 'Minotaur' as well as bandits from Zakros, who had been assigned by the Cult of Kosmos to kill any and all glory-seeking champions lured in by Leiandros' act. Kassandra dealt with the bandits, learned the truth of Leiandros' motives, and claimed the valuables within the cave.[1]
