Catherine Kerr

Catherine Kerr was the innkeeper of the Green Dragon Tavern in Boston.

Biography

She and her cousin Cornelius Douglass inherited the tavern after her father William Douglass's death in 1752. In 1754, while she was having a row with Cornelius, Haytham Kenway and Charles Lee came to find lodging, and she promptly stopped to welcome them.[1]

In 1782, when Ratonhnhaké:ton, Haytham's son, came to the tavern looking for Lee, Catherine asked him if he needed something, but he bluntly responded that he did not, which Catherine considered rude.[2]

Trivia

  • Catherine shared her character model with Corrine.
  • Catherine was the only civilian who would shove Connor or Haytham if they stood too close to her.
