The Campagna district (English: Campaign District, or Country District) was one of the four districts of Rome. This district was characterized by its farmlands and large settlements.
During the early 1500s, the Campagna district, like the Centro and Antico districts, fell into disrepair under the influence of the House of Borgia. Four Borgia Towers ruled over the Campagna district, each guarded by a Borgia Captain.
By 1503, Ezio Auditore had burned down all of the Borgia Towers, as well as having reopened most of the shops and re-established the Mercenaries Guild and the Barracks for his fellow Assassin Bartolomeo d'Alviano, in order to aid him in his war against the Borgia and their French allies.
The Campagna district was the home of famous Roman landmarks such as the Castra Praetoria and the Terme di Diocleziano, where the entrance to the Cloaca Maxima's Romulus lair was located.
In the Campagna District

The Campagna district is adjacent to the Centro and Antico districts, and is where the famous Skirmish with the French takes place. Within this district, Ezio can find:

- Fourteen Doctors
- Three Tailors
- Three Art Merchants
