I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name? This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given. |
King Richard's Citadel was a huge fortress in the southern rich district of Acre and also the main residence of Richard I of England.
The citadel is secured by huge walls and operates like a small town within itself. It also contains the quarters of William of Montferrat, a Templar, who governed the area when Richard was absent fighting the Saracens.
In 1191, the Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad infiltrated the heavily guarded fortress in order to assassinate William.
A couple of years later, Altaïr and Maria Thorpe met atop of the citadel's tower where he impregnated her.
