Brothels are locations that appear in the Assassin's Creed series and are the homes of the courtesans. In Assassin's Creed II brothels are located in Florence, Venice and Monteriggioni and all of them appear to have a small rooftop gardens. The only purpose of these gardens seems to be to distinguish the brothels from other nearby buildings. In Rome of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, other than its central brothel, there are several small faction buildings that may be renovated into brothels.

La Rosa Colta ("The Breaking Rose") is a brothel located in the city of Florence and it's leader was Paola. It was founded in 1465 when Paola decided to help the women of the streets by giving them a home.
