Brennus or Brennos was a chieftain of the Senones. Leading an army of Cisalpine Gauls in 387 BCE, Brennus sacked the city of Rome and occupied it for months, before leaving after a ransom was paid. In 2012, Abstergo Industries added a mnemonic set to Project Legacy themed around many different "Sacks of Rome" and added Brennus to it as a key figure.[1]
