Boetio was one of Lorenzo de' Medici's "most trusted servants." He was the one to whom Ezio Auditore da Firenze gave the documents his father had hoped to send to Lorenzo in the event he was imprisoned, and who informed Ezio of Lorenzo's stay at Villa Careggi.
