Anicius Manlius Severinus Boëthius (c. 480 – 524), commonly called Boethius, was a Roman senator, consul and Christian philosopher who worked in Rome between the end of Classical Antiquity and the inception of the Middle Ages. He was also worshipped as a saint by the Catholic and Orthodox Churches.

In 2012, he was included in a mnemonic set in Abstergo Industries' Project Legacy.[1]
