Boeotian Sword

The Boeotian Sword was a type of sword forged and used by ancient Greeks who lived in the region of Boeotia.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra received the sword after helping a Thebian named Melanippos acquire some herbs for a potion meant for his lover, the champion Drakon.[1]
