Boeotian Rhapsody

The Boeotian Rhapsody was a variation of the common Sledgehammer used in ancient Greece during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the mace was hidden in a chest in the Akropolis of Thebes in Boeotia. It was later recovered by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
