The Bludgeon Mace was a type of mace used in ancient Greece during the 5th century BCE. It was simple and slow, but did its duty.
During the Peloponnesian War, this mace was the preferred weapon of Polyphemos, a man living on the island of Anaphi.[1] The mercenary Exekias the Legend also wielded a Bludgeon Mace in his left hand, while in his right he brandished Typhon's Mace.[2]
