The Blindfold

The Blindfold was a simple eyepatch which belonged to Supideo, a Lokrian man in the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra helped Supideo recover his sword and his shield, and inadvertently fulfilled a prophecy Supideo had received from the Pythia of Delphi. In the end, Kassandra received this eyepatch.[1]
