Bernardino was the abbot of Camerino and an outspoken ally against the Borgia.
Biography
During the liberation of Rome, Abbot Bernardino actively worked against the Borgia in Camerino, eventually raising the suspicion of the Church, who sent mercenaries to restrain him. A team of Assassins sent by Ezio Auditore met with the abbot and asked for his assistance in their ambush of the mercenaries. Bernardino offered every resource he had avaliable. With their ambush successful, Bernardino was safe and continued to send information from Camerino to the Assassins.[1]
