Bebnum's House was an estate southwest of Thebes which, by the 1st century BCE, had been settled in by a cult of Akhenaten. Once home to the 17th century BCE pharaoh, the farm was used by the cult to perform rituals in worship of Akhenaten and Aten.
In 38 BCE, the God's Wife of Amun Isidora sent the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa to investigate the estate when claims emerge that the cult escaped the wrath of the Curse of the Pharaohs. There, Bayek met and rescued Djehuty, and later bore witness to one of the many rituals they conducted in worship of the heretic pharaoh and the Aten.[1]
