Or why Desmond didn't just take a moment to think while in the Grand Temple to realize "Hey, maybe I should follow up on that Eve lead..." Well, saving the world was indeed more of a priority. But it's kind of a smack in the face to kill Desmond before delivering what was expected. | |||

I don't think we should. Her existence isn't confirmed, only speculated by Subject 16 as well.
So much for Desmond finding Eve then.
Makes you wonder why Clay didn't mention her when he met Desmond or why Desmond did not ask about it. Or why he did not ask about anything for that matter. Well, I suppose it could be explained because Desmond's mind was fragile, and he only remembered Lucy's death as well when Clay brought her up.
