But, I guess if you look at things from a Templar's perspective, few things could be more frightening than seeing a white hood amongst a sea of people, and knowing that your demise follows that sight. @FTGM lol Still, the social stealth mechanics would make more sense if the Assassins didn't stick out the way they do. Altair didn't wear a disguise but at least he blended with scholars who looked like him.
But, I guess if you look at things from a Templar's perspective, few things could be more frightening than seeing a white hood amongst a sea of people, and knowing that your demise follows that sight. It's like seeing a ghost in an old family photo.
