Babtunde Josèphe (1738 – unknown)[1] was a member of the Assassin Brotherhood in Saint-Domingue. The son of Adéwalé, also an Assassin, and Bastienne Josèphe, he later fathered a son named Eseosa who was also trained into the Brotherhood.
Conceived after a night of passion between his parents in Port-au-Prince, Babtunde only learned about his father when he was fifteen. Babtunde met his father when he returned to Port-au-Prince after the earthquake of 1751, and started his training to become a member of the Assassin Order under his father.[2]
