Attila the Hun (c. 406 – 453) was the leader of the Huns from 434 until his death in 453. His empire stretched from Germany to the Ural River, and from the River Danube to the Baltic Sea, and it was governed from the Pannonian Basin, modern day Hungary.
Biography
In the 450s, during his invasion of Italy, Attila attempted to sack the town of Modena, but was unable to do so due a dense fog supposedly conjured by Saint Geminianus.[1]
Legacy
In 2012, Attila was one of many historical people included in the Glyph puzzles the late Assassin Clay Kaczmarek had left behind in the Animus as messages for his successor Desmond Miles to decipher. Desmond later did in September of that year.[2] Desmond solved this puzzle, which was part of a set titled "Instruments of Power" where Attila was included in the list of historical individuals revealed by Clay to have wielded a Sword of Eden.[3]
Equipment and skills
Attila possessed a unique blade, known to history under the names of "the Sword of Mars", the "Sword of Attila" or the "Sword of God". This weapon was in fact one of the Swords of Eden.[4]
