The Athenian War Hero Boots was a pair of legendary boots that were part of the Athenian War Hero armor set during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War the boots were in the possession of Podarkes, a member of the Delian League branch of the Cult of Kosmos, and a self-proclaimed 'King of the Silver Islands'. Podarkes was slain by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who claimed the boots for her own.[1]
