The Athenian Vambraces was a pair of light vambraces worn by Athenians in the 5th century BCE, usually reserved for Athen's greatest champions.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra acquired the vambraces over the course of her journeys throughout Greece.[1]
