Athenian Tassets

The Athenian Tassets were tassets worn and utilized by Athenian soldiers. Made with reinforced leather, they allowed for protection from basic attacks. The Adventurer's Belt was based on this design.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra purchased different variations of the tassets from blacksmiths or found them throughout her journeys across Greece.[1]
